To kick off their annual B2B Developer Day, Southern Water approached FIVE LINES with a task of creating a 10 minute opening speech that would engage and inspire attendees.
Aimed at the utility brand’s housing developer customers, the goal of the speech was to set the scene for the day, under the theme ‘Water for Life: Building a Resilient Water Future’.
This included two main focus areas - customers and the environment.
Combining updates on incentivised customer plans, with hard-hitting Government statistics on the global climate crisis, the speech offered an immediate opportunity to remind customers of Southern Water’s ongoing commitment to both them and the environment.
Alongside this, the speech was then edited and condensed into a take-home format, inserted directly into the opening page of the conference’s brochure.
The speech itself culminated in a 90 second introduction video showcasing the value of water, before the CEO of Southern Water, Ian McAulay, took to the stage and commenced the day.
And yes, there was even time for a water pun.
